The greatest saint of south India Thiruvalluvar is known in the world for his firm faith in the religion of humanity. He was from a weaver family. The values of life he stood for are prevalent in Kabir. It is in this context that we call him Kabir of south. In the same way it will be relevant if we call Kabir a Thiruvalluvar of North. The biographies of these great people have been vitiated and polluted in many ways as is clear from the variety of these stories. We shall revert to this subject later.
