Bhagat Mahasabha held National Megh Confefence – भगत महासभा ने राष्ट्रीय मेघ सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया

भगत महासभा ने एक राष्ट्रीय मेघ सम्मेलन 10-04-2011 को रॉयल पैलेस, जालंधर में प्रातः 11.00 बजे आयोजित किया. भगत महासभा द्वारा मेघ समुदाय में एकता बढ़ाने के प्रयासों के तहत यह विभिन्न राज्यों में लगभग एक वर्ष में किए गए समारोहों में दसवाँ था जो महासभा की सक्रियता दर्शाता है. मैं स्वयं इस कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित था अतः अधिक न लिख कर इस कार्यक्रम के फोटो दे रहा हूँ जो इसे पर्याप्त रूप से दर्शा रहे हैं. सुनने में आया है कि मेघ समुदाय का ऐसा कार्यक्रम जालंधर में बहुत देर के बाद हुआ है और इससे समुदाय में राजनीतिक गतिविधियाँ तेज़ हो गई हैं. चलो अच्छा हुआ. और भी अच्छा होगा यदि सामान्यजन के लिए शिक्षा और प्रशिक्षण का भी प्रबंध हो जाए जिसकी कमी की बात सभी वक्ताओं ने की. एक कारण मेरी व्यक्तिगत खुशी का भी है. एक आलेख में मैंने कबीर के ज्ञानदिवस को सुहावना मौसम देने के बारे में लिखा था जिसे आप यहाँ (मार्च के आलेखों में) पढ़ सकते हैं. इस समारोह के दौरान कई वक्ताओं ने इस मुद्दे को उठाया. आस बँधी है कि इस बारे में समुदाय शीघ्र ही कोई निर्णय लेगा. इस अवसर पर श्री कीमती लाल भगत को मैंने पहली बार सुना. रोमी रंजन (Romy Ranjan) के गीत सुने थे उसका भाषण पहली बार सुना. आशुकोटि (Ashu Koti) के लाइव गीत भा गए.

 

Unity and way to progress – सामुदायिक एकता और विकास-पथ

किसी समुदाय के भीतर कार्य कर रहे विभिन्न सामाजिक संगठनों का मिल कर अपने कार्यक्रम बनाना समुदाय के विकास का अगला चरण माना जाता है. मेघवंशियों के जम्मू-कश्मीर स्थित मेघ-भगत समुदाय ने, मेरी जानकारी के अनुसार, पहली बड़ी संगठनात्मक पहल की है कि कई वर्ष से कार्यरत मेघ सुधार सभा’ (Megh Sudhar Sabha) और भगत महासभा’ (Bhagat Mahasabha)  ने मिल कर अपने कार्यक्रम बनाने का और सामाजिक उत्थान का संकल्प लिया है. परंपरावादी शक्तियों द्वारा कई नाम दे कर भयंकर रूप से बाँट दिए गए इस समुदाय में बहुत समय के बाद यह सकारात्मक लक्षण देखने को मिला. विश्वास होने लगा है कि पंजाब और जम्मू-कश्मीर में इस समुदाय के भीतर कार्य कर रहे अन्य पुराने और ढीले ढँग से चल रहे संगठन इससे प्रेरणा लेकर एकता और विकास को मिशन बनाएँगे. इससे युवा शक्ति बड़े पैमाने पर आ जुड़ेगी. रास्ता लंबा है और बेचैनी भी बहुत है. शिक्षा, जागरूकता और निरंतर कार्य भी चाहिए.

Bhagat Maha Sabha Meets at Pathankot

Pathankot, August 22
A meeting was held by Bhagat Maha Sabha under the leadership of district co-ordinator G.L. Bhagat.
The Chief guest of meeting was National President of Bhagat Maha Sabha Prof. Raj Kumar Bhagat and Tara Chand was guest of honour. The co-ordinators of different Bhagat Maha Sabha units of Tehsil Pathankot has participated the meeting.
In this meeting the working of Sabha was inspected and the policies for new years was discussed. Speaking on the occasion Prof. Bhagat said that Sabha had also constituted women cell and to promote it the presidents will be appointed soon who will constitute the women committees in their own area as per the directions of higher authority of Sabha.
He also praised the work done by Asha Bhagat, G.L. Bhagat, Pawan Bhagat, Varinder Bhagat, Vishav Bhagat and Ratan Bhagat.
On this occasion Karm Chand, Sansar Chand, Lal Chand, Des Raj, Ratan Chand, Vijay, Ami Chand, Ramesh Bhagat, Satpal, Jagdish, Shashi, Omprakash and Tara Chand were present.

Bhagat Mahasabha – Introduction

Bhagat Mahasabha was established in the year 2002 with the mission to unite Megh Community. The purpose was to bring them at one platform and to create social, religious, political and historical awareness amongst them. Its founder members were Prof. Raj Kumar, Balvir Bhagat, Jagdish Bitta, Roshan Lal Bhagat, Rajinder Kumar, Ramesh Kumar Bhagat etc.

The present Punjab state level office bearers in Punjab: Prabhdyal Bhagat is State President, Jatinder Jind is General Secretary, Rajesh Bhagat is State Coordinator. Other office bears include Yog Raj Bhagat, Dr.Ashok Bhagat, Labh Chand Bhagat, Raj Kumar, Dr.Dhian Singh Bhagat, Joginder Bhagat, Kans Raj Bhagat, Ramesh Chander Bhagat, Bobby Pandit.

Bhagat Mahasabha has its district units in Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Amritsar, Gurdaspur and Kapurthala with their state units located in Punjab, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and New Delhi.
Bhagat Mahasabha is the only organization which is on-line and using free SMS service for social networking of Megh Community in India. They have other wing named Bhagat Network and also provides job search assistance through blogging i.e. Bhagat Jobs. Recently they have added Bhagat Chetna to their credits.  As a group they participate in social, political, educational, cultural and religious activities. At the same time they do not affiliate with any political, social or religious group. They believe in individual identity of Megh Samaj in the world .Major functions of the organization are to EDUCATE, ORGANISE and UNITE. They organize coaching classes for Megh students and provide services for searching employment opportunities through blogs and create awareness regarding religion and matrimonial services. Bhagat Mahasabha has initiated a forum called Bhagat Mahasabha Intellectual’s Forum which consists of people from services, retired individuals, students, and businessmen, religious and political personalities. Mahasabha has a youth wing called Kabir Sena for the purpose of character building of young people and bringing them to right religious thinking.

As a part of their social help to the needy young people they organized coaching classes for aspirants of bank services. They are preparing second line of the leadership. They have started making an Advisory board and have their own letter head. Besides publishing on blogs, they also published calendars of Satguru Kabir and distributed free of cost on the occasion of Kabir Jayanti. So far they have not taken any donations for any social cause. They have no sources of funds so far. Mahasabha takes legal advice for all its activities.


Future agenda: Besides having a National forum, grass root level units will be established in each state, district and village. More wings of Bhagat Mahasabha will be established very soon e.i student, bussiness, youth, retired, satguru kabir panth (in which all satguru kabir mandirs will be inter-connected)

612th Kabir Birthday Celebrations

612th birth anniversary celebrations of Kabir were held at Parade Ground, Jammu under the aegis of Bhagat Mahasabha. On the dais Prof. Rajkumar Bhagat (2nd from right), Mr.Gopal Denwal (4th from from right), Dr.Rajesh Bhagat (5th from right).

Megh ladies participated with noticeable vigor. They were the first to come and help in organizational work.

Inquisitive Kabirpanthi Sadhus were also seen.

Children carried flags with the slogan ‘Jai kabir’ and ‘Dhanya Kabir’

Self confidence of young leadership was clearly visible.

Literature of Dr.Ambedkar and Osho, the books, calendars and new symbols of faith and belief regarding Kabir and Megh Rishi were also exhibited. People took deep interest in them.

Bhagat Mahasabha – Hard workers for the cause

An Introduction
Bhagat Mahasabha was established in the year 2009 and its first ever function was also held in the year 2009. It has a wing called ‘Intellectuals Forum’. They have groups of followers of Satguru Kabir in all the districts falling under Jammu region. Bhagat Mahasabha has a perspective of 4-5 years for its expanded activities in furture.
