The story of Megh Rishi is not new in Megh Society. But there was no image as to what sort of face and color he had. The information being now received from Meghwals of Rajasthan and the articles on Indus Valley Civilization shows that not only the image but also their stories, though distorted, are available.
Megh Sena has been formed in Rajasthan for character building of the youth and symbol of Megh Sena has been derived from Megh Rishi himself in form of a commander.
Megh Rishi has also emerged as religious icon with a serene image of a Rishi.
